The Needham Rockets softball team scored 19 runs and limited the visiting Braintree Wamps to 4 in the Rockets league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Needham moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Rockets host Walpole (Walpole, MA) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league game on Monday, April 11. The Rebels come into the game with a record of 1-0. Walpole won 12-6 in their recent league game against Natick (Natick, MA)

In their next game, the Wamps clash with the Bridgewater-Raynham Trojans (Bridgewater, MA) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 8. Braintree will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
