Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Carver Yellowjackets (Winston-Salem, NC), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southeast Guilford for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 11. Cornerstone Charter will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 10-4 league win over Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Carver falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC) to battle the Falcons in a Northwest Piedmont 1A challenge on Tuesday, April 26. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 5-7.
