Durango Trailblazers (Las Vegas, NV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Las Vegas Wildcats (Las Vegas, NV), 14-11 in a league challenge.

The Trailblazers now own a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they host Bonanza for a 4A Mountain challenge on Friday, April 8. Durango will battle a Bengals squad coming off a 12-2 league win over Western (Las Vegas, NV). The Bengals record now stands at 1-7.

With the loss, Las Vegas falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Cheyenne (North Las Vegas, NV) to battle the Desert Shields in a 4A Mountain challenge on Friday, April 8. The Desert Shields enter the challenge with a record of 4-6. Cheyenne lost 16-0 in their recent league challenge against Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV)
