The Hickory Red Tornadoes softball team (Hickory, NC), was routed 12-0 in Wednesday's league test with the host East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC)
Coming up next, the Mustangs encounter the Statesville Greyhounds (Statesville, NC) in a Western Foothills 3A test, on Thursday, April 7. East Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 12-0 season record. The Greyhounds come into the test with a 0-9 record after their 25-0 league loss to North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC).
The Red Tornadoes (3-10) will now prepare for their test against North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Knights come into the Western Foothills 3A test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, North Lincoln overcame South Iredell (Statesville, NC), 19-4, in a non-league test.
