The Logan Wildcats softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Sherman Tide to 5 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Logan moves its record to 5-7 on the year. The Wildcats host Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV) to clash with the Tigers in a Cardinal game on Thursday, April 7. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 3-3.

In their next game, the Tide clash with the Scott Skyhawks (Madison, WV) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 9. Sherman will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record. The Skyhawks come into the test with a 2-5 record after their 13-2 league loss to Logan (Logan, WV).
