The Cedar Grove Panthers baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Payne Tech Lions to 0 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Panthers (3-0) will now prepare for their match against East Orange Campus (East Orange, NJ). The Jaguars go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, East Orange Campus gained a win over University (Newark, NJ), 18-3, in a league match.
The Lions (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Newark Academy (Livingston, NJ). The Minutemen go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Newark Academy was overwhelmed by Belleville (Belleville, NJ), 5-4, in a non-league match.
