In Thursday's league game, the host Pickens Dragons baseball team scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Dawson County Tigers.
The Dragons (22-3) will now prepare for their game against Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA). The Indians go into the 3A Area 7 game with a 18-5 record. In their last game, Lumpkin County tipped Lake Weir (Ocala, FL), 9-4, in a non-league game.
The Tigers (12-11) will now prepare for their game against East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA). The Broncos go into the non-league game with a 15-9 record. In their last game, East Forsyth tipped East Hall (Gainesville, GA), 12-1, in a league game.
