East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC), 8-0 in a league test.

With the win, East Rowan upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Mustangs host Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, April 7. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 7-8. Lake Norman won 13-9 in their recent league test against Cox Mill (Concord, NC)

With the defeat, South Rowan falls to 6-8 on the season. The Raiders travel to West Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to battle the Wolverines in a non-league test on Friday, April 7. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 5-8. West Cabarrus won 4-2 in their recent league test against A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC)
