The Hononegah Indians baseball team scored 2 runs and limited the visiting Grant Community Bulldogs to 1 in the Indians non-league victory on Thursday.
The Indians (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Sycamore (Sycamore, IL). The Spartans go into the non-league match with a 6-0 record. In their last match, Sycamore edged Ottawa (Ottawa, IL), 7-3, in a league match.
The Bulldogs (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Harlem (Machesney Park, IL). The Huskies go into the non-league match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Harlem was edged by Jacobs (Algonquin, IL), 25-6, in a non-league match.
