North Carolina High School Baseball - West Mecklenburg loses to Hopewell

The West Mecklenburg Hawks baseball team (Charlotte, NC), was overwhelmed 16-2 in Thursday's league outing with the visiting Hopewell Titans (Huntersville, NC)

The Titans now hold a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Charlotte Stampede for a non-league outing on Monday, April 10. Hopewell will confront a Stampede team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC). The Stampede record now stands at 12-4.

Next, the Hawks confront the Mallard Creek Mavericks (Charlotte, NC) in a Queen City 3A/4A outing, on Tuesday, April 18. West Mecklenburg will attempt to advance on its 4-10 season record.
