The Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC) baseball nipped the visiting North Moore Mustangs (Robbins, NC), 10-9 in Thursday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Cougars play the Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A contest, on Tuesday, April 11. Southwestern Randolph will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 7-6 record after their 6-4 non-league loss to Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC).

The Mustangs now sport a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Union Pines for a non-league contest on Monday, April 17.
