The Piscataway Chiefs crushed the host North Plainfield Canucks baseball team by a count of 13-5 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Chiefs now possess a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Brunswick for a Greater Middlesex - Red bout on Monday, April 10. Piscataway will face a Bears team coming off a 9-3 non-league win over South Plainfield (South Plainfield, NJ). The Bears record now stands at 2-1.
Next, the Canucks face the Spotswood Chargers (Spotswood, NJ) in a Greater Middlesex - Blue bout, on Saturday, April 8. North Plainfield will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Chargers enter the bout with a 2-0 record after their 13-0 league win over Metuchen (Metuchen, NJ).
