The South Hills Scorpions (Fort Worth, TX) baseball trounced the visiting Polytechnic Parrots (Fort Worth, TX), 8-1 in Thursday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Scorpions encounter the North Side Steers (Fort Worth, TX) in a 5A Region I District 6 contest, on Tuesday, April 11. South Hills will attempt to better on its 14-4 season record.

The Parrots now sport a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Arlington Heights for a 5A Region I District 6 contest on Tuesday, April 11. Polytechnic will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 12-2 league win over Trimble Tech (Fort Worth, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 16-5.
