The Sulphur Golden Tors got by the visiting Southside Sharks baseball team by a count of 1-0 in Thursday's league bout.
The Golden Tors now possess a 23-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Barbe for a 5A District 3 bout on Saturday, April 8. Sulphur will face a Buccaneers team coming off a 16-1 league win over Lafayette (Lafayette, LA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 29-1.
Next up, the Sharks clash with the Comeaux Spartans (Lafayette, LA) in a 5A District 3 game, on Saturday, April 8. Southside will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Spartans go into the game with a 13-14 record after their 8-2 league loss to Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA).
