The Wayne County Yellow Jackets baseball team (Jesup, GA), was tipped 7-6 in Thursday's non-league outing with the host Ware County Gators (Waycross, GA)
The Gators now hold a 10-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greenbrier for a 5A Area 1 outing on Tuesday, April 11. Ware County will face a Wolfpack team coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Harlem (Harlem, GA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 19-3.
Next, the Yellow Jackets face the Benedictine Cadets (Savannah, GA) in a 4A Area 3 outing, on Tuesday, April 11. Wayne County will attempt to advance on its 16-8 season record. The Cadets enter the outing with a 16-8 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Colleton County (Walterboro, SC).
