California High School Volleyball - Leigh over Independence

In Thursday's league contest, the Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Independence 76ers (San Jose, CA), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Longhorns battle the Mountain View Spartans (Mountain View, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, April 7. Leigh will attempt to better on its 17-6 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 8-11 record after their 3-2 league loss to Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA).

With the loss, Independence moves to 2-4 on the year. The 76ers host Branham (San Jose, CA) to battle the Bruins in a BVAL - Mt. Hamilton contest on Tuesday, April 18. The Bruins go into the contest with a record of 13-3.
