Althoff Catholic Crusaders (Belleville, IL) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team overwhelm the visiting Centralia Orphans (Centralia, IL), 12-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Crusaders face the Marion Wildcats (Marion, IL) in a South Seven challenge, on Tuesday, April 11. Althoff Catholic will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 10-1 non-league win over DuQuoin (DuQuoin, IL).

The Orphans now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Anna-Jonesboro/Cobden for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 8. Centralia will face a Wildcats team coming off a 6-2 league loss to Pinckneyville (Pinckneyville, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-5.
