William Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Terriers confront the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA) in a Blue Ridge challenge, on Tuesday, April 11. William Byrd will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Salem (Salem, VA).

The Knights now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Salem for a River Ridge challenge on Tuesday, April 11.
