The West Carteret Patriots baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Croatan Cougars to 4 in the Patriots non-league victory on Thursday.
With the win, West Carteret upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Patriots host Swansboro (Swansboro, NC) to battle the Pirates in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 18. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 2-7.
With the defeat, Croatan falls to 2-8 on the season. The Cougars host Topsail (Hampstead, NC) to battle the Pirates in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 12. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 8-3.
