Monroe Trojans (Monroe, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Airport Jets (Carleton, MI), 10-6 in a league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Flat Rock for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 29.

With the loss, Airport falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Jets travel to St. Mary Catholic Central (Monroe, MI) to face the Falcons/Kestrels in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 11. The Falcons/Kestrels enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. St. Mary Catholic Central lost 10-5 in their recent league challenge against Monroe (Monroe, MI)
