The Highland Cardinals softball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Argyle Orioles to 1 in the Cardinals league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Highland moves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Cardinals host Benton/Shullsburg (Benton, WI) to play the Zephyrs in a non-league game on Monday, April 10. The Zephyrs come into the game with a record of 1-3.

In their next game, the Orioles play the Barneveld Eagles (Barneveld, WI) in a Six Rivers game, on Tuesday, April 11. Argyle will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record.
