California High School Softball - Riverside Prep bounces Big Bear

Riverside Prep Silver Knights (Oro Grande, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Big Bear Bears (Big Bear City, CA), 17-7 in a league challenge.

The Silver Knights now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they host Excelsior Charter for a Cross Valley challenge on Tuesday, April 11. Riverside Prep will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 5-3 league loss to Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy (Victorville, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-12.

With the loss, Big Bear falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Cathedral City (Cathedral City, CA) to battle the Lions in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 7. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 4-11. Cathedral City lost 23-0 in their recent league challenge against Coachella Valley (Thermal, CA)
