The Connally Cadets softball team (Waco, TX), was tipped 7-6 in Thursday's league test with the host Salado Eagles (Salado, TX)

Coming up next, the Eagles clash with the Robinson Rockets (Robinson, TX) in a 4A Region III District 23 test, on Tuesday, April 11. Salado will attempt to improve on its 19-10 season record. The Rockets come into the test with a 22-7 record after their 12-1 league win over La Vega (Waco, TX).

The Cadets (10-14) will now prepare for their test against Gatesville (Gatesville, TX). The Hornets come into the 4A Region III District 23 test with a 17-13 record. In their last test, Gatesville was tipped by China Spring (China Spring, TX), 8-7, in a league test.
