Cotulla Cowboys (Cotulla, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Hondo Owls (Hondo, TX), 17-6 in a league challenge.

The Cowboys now sport a 20-3 record. They take the field next when they host Lytle for a 3A Region IV District 28 challenge on Tuesday, April 11. Cotulla will face a Pirates squad coming off a 6-3 league win over Natalia (Natalia, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 16-10.

With the loss, Hondo falls to 14-11 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Dilley (Dilley, TX) to face the Wolves in a 3A Region IV District 28 challenge on Tuesday, April 11. The Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 8-12. Dilley lost 15-5 in their recent league challenge against Crystal City (Crystal City, TX)
