In Thursday's league contest, the East Juniata Tigers (McAlisterville, PA) softball team overwhelmed the host Halifax Wildcats (Halifax, PA), by a margin of 21-5.
With the triumph, East Juniata moves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Tigers travel to Line Mountain (Herndon, PA) to play the Eagles in a Tri-Valley contest on Friday, April 14. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 1-3.
In their next game, the Wildcats play the Susquenita Blackhawks (Duncannon, PA) in a Tri-Valley contest, on Tuesday, April 11. Halifax will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Blackhawks come into the contest with a 3-1 record after their 4-3 league loss to Juniata (Mifflintown, PA).
