The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Oneonta Redskins (Oneonta, AL) and the host Etowah Blue Devils (Attalla, AL), saw Oneonta's softball squad nip Etowah by a count of 14-9.

The Redskins now sport a 12-8 record. They take the field next when they host Ashville for a 4A Area 12 match on Tuesday, April 11. Oneonta will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 10-3 non-league loss to Sylvania (Sylvania, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, Etowah falls to 13-5 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to St. Clair County (Odenville, AL) to face the Fighting Saints in a non-league match on Friday, April 7. The Fighting Saints enter the match with a record of 2-9. St. Clair County lost 12-2 in their recent league match against Moody (Moody, AL)
