Las Cruces Bulldawgs (Las Cruces, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM), 20-2 in a league challenge.

The Bulldawgs now own a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they host Organ Mountain for a 5A District 3 challenge on Monday, April 10. Las Cruces will face a Knights squad coming off a 10-1 league loss to Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM). The Knights record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, Gadsden falls to 1-16 on the year. The Panthers host Centennial (Las Cruces, NM) to clash with the Hawks in a 5A District 3 game on Monday, April 10. The Hawks come into the game with a record of 17-0. Centennial won 10-3 in their recent league game against Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM)
