The Pinelands Regional Wildcats (Tuckerton, NJ) softball nipped the host Lacey Township Lions (Lanoka Harbor, NJ), 4-3 in Thursday's league bout.

The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Donovan Catholic (Toms River, NJ). The Griffins go into the Shore B - South bout with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, Donovan Catholic held off St. Anthony's (Melville, NY), 5-3, in a non-league bout.

The Lions now possess a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Barnegat for a Shore B - South bout on Monday, April 10. Lacey Township will confront a Bengals squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Colts Neck (Colts Neck, NJ). The Bengals record now stands at 1-1.
