Wetumpka Indians (Wetumpka, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Marbury Bulldogs (Marbury, AL), 13-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 36-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hewitt-Trussville for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 7. Wetumpka will battle a Huskies squad coming off a 12-9 non-league loss to Central (Phenix City, AL). The Huskies record now stands at 26-5.

With the loss, Marbury falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Demopolis (Demopolis, AL) to battle the Tigers in a 5A Area 6 challenge on Thursday, April 13. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 15-10.
