The St. John Paul II Lions softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Mashpee Falcons to 7 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, St. John Paul II improves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Lions host Martha's Vineyard Regional (Oak Bluffs, MA) to clash with the Vineyarders in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 12. The Vineyarders come into the game with a record of 0-2. Martha's Vineyard Regional lost 15-3 in their recent non-league game against O'Bryant (Roxbury, MA)

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Sandwich Blue Knights (East Sandwich, MA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 7. Mashpee will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Blue Knights go into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 18-0 league loss to Marshfield (Marshfield, MA).
