Minuteman Regional Minuteman (Lexington, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Mystic Valley Regional Eagles (Malden, MA), 8-1 in a league challenge.

The Minuteman now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mystic Valley Regional for a Commonwealth Lower challenge on Tuesday, April 11.

With the loss, Mystic Valley Regional falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Malden (Malden, MA) to face the Golden Tornados in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 8.
