Thompson Warriors (Alabaster, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils (Kimberly, AL), 12-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 22-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Auburn for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 7. Thompson will face a Tigers squad coming off a 10-2 league win over Opelika (Opelika, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 20-3.
With the loss, Mortimer Jordan moves to 6-10 on the season. The Blue devils host Pinson Valley (Pinson, AL) to meet the Indians in a 6A Area 13 match on Friday, April 7. The Indians go into the match with a record of 4-16.
