The Cousino Patriots crushed the visiting Utica Chieftains baseball team by a tally of 14-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Patriots now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Fraser for a non-league bout on Monday, April 8. Cousino will face a Ramblers team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Lake Shore (St. Clair Shores, MI). The Ramblers record now stands at 1-1.

Next, the Chieftains face the Lamphere Rams (Madison Heights, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 8. Utica will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record.
