The Hayden Wildcats baseball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting Southeastern Mustangs to 1 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Wildcats (10-14) will now prepare for their match against St. Clair County (Odenville, AL). The Fighting Saints go into the 5A Area 11 match with a 12-23 record. In their last match, St. Clair County by Munford (Munford, AL), 5-4, in a non-league match.
The Mustangs (10-12) will now prepare for their match against Altamont (Birmingham, AL). The Knights go into the 2A Area 10 match with a 6-7 record. In their last match, Altamont tipped Carver Birmingham (Birmingham, AL), 18-3, in a non-league match.
