The Kent School Lions got by the host Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans baseball team by a count of 19-18 in Saturday's league bout.
The Lions now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Hotchkiss School for a Founders bout on Monday, April 8. Kent School will face a Bearcats team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Choate Rosemary Hall School (Wallingford, CT). The Bearcats record now stands at 0-3.
Next, the Pelicans face the Westminster School Martlets (Simsbury, CT) in a Founders bout, on Monday, April 8. Loomis Chaffee School will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Martlets go into the match with a 4-2 record after their 5-3 league loss to Kingswood Oxford (West Hartford, CT).
