The Los Alamos Hilltoppers baseball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes to 4 in the Hilltoppers league victory on Saturday.
The Hilltoppers (10-5) will now prepare for their match against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Pintos go into the 4A District 2 match with a 3-7 record. In their last match, Moriarty ran past Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM), 13-3, in a league match.
The Elks/Elkettes (1-16) will now prepare for their match against Taos (Taos, NM). The Tigers go into the 4A District 2 match with a 7-6 record. In their last match, Taos was overwhelmed by Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM), 3-2, in a league match.
