Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Southern Columbia Area sneaks past Loyalsock Township

The Southern Columbia Area Tigers (Catawissa, PA) baseball nipped the host Loyalsock Township Lancers (Williamsport, PA), 3-2 in Saturday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the Bloomsburg Panthers (Bloomsburg, PA) in a Heartland III contest, on Monday, April 8. Southern Columbia Area will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 0-5 record after their 15-0 league loss to Warrior Run (Turbotville, PA).

The Lancers now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Warrior Run for a Heartland III contest on Monday, April 8. Loyalsock Township will play a Defenders squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Bloomsburg (Bloomsburg, PA). The Defenders record now stands at 3-1.
