The South Lyon Lions baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Walled Lake Northern Knights to 8 in the Lions league victory on Saturday.
The Lions (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Sterling Heights Stevenson (Sterling Heights, MI). The Titans go into the non-league match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Sterling Heights Stevenson edged L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI), 7-4, in a non-league match.
The Knights (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Mott (Waterford, MI). The Corsairs go into the Lakes Valley match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Mott edged Cranbrook Kingswood (Bloomfield Hills, MI), 8-3, in a non-league match.
