Illinois High School Volleyball - Conant edged by St. Francis

The St. Francis Spartans held off the host Conant Cougars volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Spartans now have a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenbard East for a non-league test on Saturday, April 6. St. Francis will confront a Rams team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Naperville North (Naperville, IL). The Rams record now stands at 5-1.
The Cougars (11-1) will now prepare for their test against West Aurora (Aurora, IL). The Blackhawks enter the non-league test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, West Aurora held off Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
