Providence Catholic Celtics (New Lenox, IL) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Celtics confront the St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) in a Chicago Catholic challenge, on Tuesday, April 9. Providence Catholic will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus (Chicago, IL).

The Kays now have a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Streator/Woodland for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 8. Kankakee will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Beecher (Beecher, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-5.
