The Marist War Eagles baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Archer Tigers to 0 in the War Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The War Eagles (4-0) will now prepare for their match against St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta, GA). The Golden Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 8-7 record. In their last challenge, St. Pius X Catholic notched a victory over Dunwoody (Dunwoody, GA), 7-6, in a league challenge.
With the defeat, Archer falls to 2-11 on the season. The Tigers travel to Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA) to battle the Bears in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 6. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 2-8. Mountain View lost 5-2 in their recent league challenge against Parkview (Lilburn, GA)
