Oswego Panthers (Oswego, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers (Wheaton, IL), 8-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Plainfield North for a challenge on Tuesday, April 9.
With the loss, Wheaton-Warrenville South falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL) to battle the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 2-0.
