In Saturday's non-league contest, the Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) softball team overwhelmed the host Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM), by a margin of 17-6.

With the triumph, Cibola moves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Cougars travel to Valencia (Los Lunas, NM) to play the Jaguars in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 6. The Jaguars come into the contest with a record of 1-3. Valencia lost 16-0 in their recent non-league contest against Miyamura (Gallup, NM)
