Albuquerque Bulldogs (Albuquerque, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM), 20-4 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 13-5 record. They take the field next when they host Capital for a 5A District 5 challenge on Saturday, April 13. Albuquerque will battle a Jaguars squad coming off a 16-0 league win over Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, Santa Fe falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Demons travel to Portales (Portales, NM) to battle the Rams in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 6. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 7-4. Portales won 13-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM)
