The Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders softball team (Ashton, IL), was routed 15-5 in Saturday's league test with the visiting Eastland Cougars (Lanark, IL)

Coming up next, the Cougars encounter the Forreston Cardinals (Forreston, IL) in a NUIC South test, on Tuesday, April 9. Eastland will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Cardinals come into the test with a 2-4 record after their 15-1 non-league loss to Winnebago (Winnebago, IL).

The Raiders (2-6) will now prepare for their test against South Beloit (South Beloit, IL). The Sobos come into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, South Beloit was routed by Guilford (Rockford, IL), 11-0, in a non-league test.
