The St. Charles North North Stars (St. Charles, IL) softball the host Bartlett Hawks (Bartlett, IL), 5-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The North Stars (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against West Aurora (Aurora, IL). The Blackhawks go into the non-league bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, West Aurora by Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL), 7-5, in a non-league bout.
The Hawks now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they host South Elgin for a Upstate Eight bout on Monday, April 8. Bartlett will confront a Storm squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL). The Storm record now stands at 3-6.
