Shippensburg Greyhounds (Shippensburg, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Big Spring Bulldogs (Newville, PA), 6-4 in a league challenge.

The Greyhounds now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boiling Springs for a Mid-Penn - Colonial challenge on Tuesday, April 9.

With the loss, Big Spring falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to James Buchanan (Mercersburg, PA) to face the Rockets in a Mid-Penn - Colonial challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Rockets enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. James Buchanan lost 15-5 in their recent league challenge against Greencastle-Antrim (Greencastle, PA)
