The Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX) softball routed the visiting Seguin Cougars (Arlington, TX), 11-0 in Saturday's league bout.

The Elks (9-9) will now prepare for their bout against Cleburne (Cleburne, TX). The Yellowjackets go into the 5A Region I District 8 bout with a 6-17 record. In their last bout, Cleburne was routed by Midlothian (Midlothian, TX), 13-2, in a league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 13-10 record. They play next when they host Centennial for a 5A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, April 9.
