In Saturday's non-league contest, the Calvin Cougars (Calvin, LA) softball team overwhelmed the host Caddo Magnet Mustangs (Shreveport, LA), by a margin of 16-1.

In their next game, the Mustangs play the Ebarb Rebels (Noble, LA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 6. Caddo Magnet will attempt to move on its 12-11 season record. The Rebels come into the contest with a 11-7 record after their 19-2 league win over Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, LA).
