Chapin Huskies (El Paso, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Jefferson Silver Foxes (El Paso, TX), 19-1 in a league challenge.

The Huskies now sport a 22-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Burges for a 5A Region I District 1 challenge on Monday, April 8. Chapin will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 19-2 league loss to Canutillo (Canutillo, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-11.

With the loss, Jefferson falls to 1-26 on the campaign. The Silver foxes host El Paso (El Paso, TX) to face the Tigers in a 5A Region I District 1 challenge on Monday, April 8. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 19-11. El Paso won 21-11 in their recent league challenge against Andress (El Paso, TX)
